Georgia Tingley – Author Blog – March

Hi

I’m going to start 2018 with my very first blog that I’ve ever written. It’s an interesting learning process.Firstly, I hope 2017 was a great year for you, and if not – well it’s over now, so onward and upward!

I’m so excited to have finally fulfilled my dream to write and publish my first novel and I’m even looking forward to promoting it as much as I can. I had really hoped that my book ‘Justice’ would have been published earlier than March. But it was a much more time consuming process than I had envisioned. Now that I know what I’m doing, my next book should be less complicated.

As you can see, my e-book has gone live on 1st March, 2018. It’s available for $4.99 (currency converted) in most countries on Kindle/Amazon, Google Play, IBooks, Kobo,Barnes & Noble and other international outlets where e-books are available. Woot woot!

I have also organised the print version through Kindle and Ingram Spark but that will take a few weeks to become live. I hope to purchase print copies and have a book launch so that I can sign each book for anyone who purchases. They will be available for $17.99 if purchased through the retail outlets, but on the launch day I will sell for $12.99.

I’m also running a competition to name the follow-up Book Two in my ‘Angel Calling Series’. See my competition page for details. But a condensed version of the comp is that I have yet to name my next book… I’m counting on you, my readers to come up with an awesome title. All you have to do is share my ‘Justice’ cover picture on your facebook page with a few positive comments on why you enjoyed the story, tag me in and put the Title name of the new book. It’s that simple!

I’ll choose a name that I think suits the story and the winner will receive a signed printed copy of my book ‘Justice’ as well as the new book. Plus, in the acknowledgement page I will thank them for picking such a great Title. Also, I’ll send them a small surprise gift. All that for creating a great Title!

I’ll be working on book two and hope to publish it at the end of the year. I’ve already written 25,000 words of the first draft so I’m excited.

I can’t wait to start writing my next book, ‘Having Faith’. It’s a contemporary romance in a new line of books I’m working on called ‘Mature Love’- where the women are all over 35 years-old. The story is about a 40-year-old divorced woman who receives a text message that her ex-husband is getting remarried to a much younger, beautiful, and intelligent woman. There goes her fantasy that he will come crawling back! Her best friend talks her into taking her much younger and hotter half-brother, Adam, to dinner to meet her husbands sexy fiancee. It’s a great idea, except for one thing – Faith and Adam have history. Adam had a massive crush on the 10 years older woman, and a past incident could make the date uncomfortable. But she was being silly – he was older now, and at 30 he had surely outgrown his teenage infatuation. Only he hasn’t, and now it wasn’t just one-sided. As usual I’ve fallen in love with my characters in this story and can’t wait to share it with you.

For a first blog I seem to have been very long-winded. Hopefully the next one will be more straightforward and to the point. Until then take care everyone.
