As anyone who knows me will testify, I absolutely adore Christmas with all its glitter and festive atmosphere. It’s the beginning of the month and I’m surprised at how organised I am. Most of my Christmas shopping is complete, except for the groceries … argh! Not looking forward to that part, but it’s a necessary evil that we have to feast. – “And they’ll feast, feast, feast, feast. They’ll eat their Who-Pudding and rare Who-Roast Beast. But that’s something I just cannot stand in the least.” The Grinch.
We’ve put up lights on the outside of our house as we do every year, but this time I bought a Christmas banner for our garage door – if it arrives in time. The banner is blue with silver Christmas trees in a snowy setting with stars all around. It should look awesome, especially as my husband hung dangly dark blue icicle lights from the roof gutters. We even have some waterfall lights on the side wall and in the front window. I race out every night after dark in my jammies to view and soak in the Christmas magic.
Our Christmas tree is up earlier than usual
with a small number of wrapped presents nestled beneath.
I also managed to find some ‘Grinchy’ baubles, which I love.
Even my kitchen pantry door got a makeover.
My Christmas novella Whistler Wonderland is a hilarious romantic comedy that will make you alternate between a quiet chuckle to laughing out loud, and very swoony in other parts. Check it out. HERE!
I want to take this opportunity to wish all my readers and followers a
Merry Christmas!
BE SAFE. BE HAPPY. BE KIND. BE LOVING.
