EDITING:
DD Line – ddlineauthor.blogspot.com/ – D. D. Line is an aspiring writer who is currently Romance Writers Australia’s (RWA) Aspiring e-Loop Ambassador. She also does a brilliant job editing and proof-reading. What I like about D.D. is how professional she is, answering emails in a timely manner and prioritises her workload to carry out her editing job to fit in with her clients. She really helped me immensely with my novel and she comes highly recommended by me. Check out her blog, it’s great.
BOOK COVER DESIGN:
Danielle Maait – Little Book Designer. In case anyone is loving my cover art work, it was created by Danielle. I had a vision of what I wanted for my Award winning cover for Justice, and approached several cover designers in Australia, USA and even Canada but they all lumped what I wanted into the ‘too-hard basket,’ and either said they couldn’t do it, were too busy, or charged like a wounded bull. Many of them said I needed to hire a professional model and do a photo-shoot. Anyway, long story short, along comes Danielle who said “not a problem” and set out to create what you see. She was always super-professional and got back to me quickly with suggestions. Nothing was too difficult for her. I will definitely be using her business again.
Charmaine Ross – Charmaine designed my Christmas Novella – Whistler Wonderland and she did a great job. She was very accommodating and changed fonts or colours to my choice. I’ll be doing repeat business with her.
USEFUL WEBSITES:
48 Hour Books – 48hrbooks.com – I went to this website while formatting my book for print and I found it really useful and easy to use. It has a support page with ‘how to’ videos and contact for your queries although I didn’t need to use it, since it was so easy. It truly made formatting so simple.
